Rosita Guevara has been an educator for the past twenty years in a Catholic School in New Orleans and relocated to Las Vegas in 2005. For the past several years she has taught the Dual Language Kindergarten Program in the Clark County School District and now returned to teach at Saint Gabriel Catholic School.
Rosita Guevara has earned her B.A.in Spanish, with a minor in English, from the University of Southern Mississippi and completed graduate courses in Elementary Education at Xavier University of Louisiana. Rosita grew up in Biloxi, Mississippi where she was nurtured in the southern traditions even though her birthplace is in Puerto Rico.
Rosita Guevara resides with her husband in Las Vegas and they both enjoy New Orleans cuisine, rodeos, traveling and admiring the beautiful sunsets from the Pacific Coast Highway. She strongly believes in the traditions, values, and morals of a Catholic School education and because of her faith, her two daughters attended Catholic School from early childhood through high school. Both of her daughters earned their Degrees from a Catholic University, which continued their traditions, values, and morals throughout their journey in life.
Rosita Guevara feels blessed to teach at Saint Gabriel Catholic School and to be a part of our SGCS family.
