Terri Grisingher - 2nd Grade

Mrs. Terri Grisinger is delighted to be part of the Saint Gabriel Catholic School family for the fourth year. Not only is she honored to be teaching Second Grade, she cherishes her role in ensuring the faith formation of her students during their Sacramental Preparation year. Mrs. Grisingher holds a Level III Catechist Certification, the highest level of certification offered in the Diocese of Las Vegas, and has been teaching for the last 27 years. As a result, in addition to caring for the faith formation of our students, Mrs. Grisingher has also been asked to fulfill the role of Religious Director of Catechist Faith Formation to maintain the Catholic Identity of the faculty as well.

Mrs. Grisingher has always taken an active role within the community. One such endeavor involved serving the community of Bishop Gorman High School by facilitating religious speakers, in addition to developing and seeing through to fruition, an Adoration program. Her pervious experience also includes teaching K-8 Math and English at Yeshiva Day School as a tutor; Fourth Grade at Saint Christopher Catholic School as a long-term sub; K-5 Core classes, Middle School Religion, Science, English Literature, Social Studies, Music, Art, and Technology at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School as a substitute teacher. She also coordinated the Busy Hands Crafters and started the Children’s Craft Club for the students at the school.

Mrs. Grisingher received an Honors degree in Economics and has completed Masters’ level classes in Education from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. To stay current with educational curriculum and methods Mrs. Grisingher continues to attend educational conferences and classes.

Mrs. Grisingher has been married to her husband, David, for 25 years and together they have one son, Dominic. Their son is a testament to the Grisingher Family’s dedication to a Catholic education, who successfully completed his elementary course of studies at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, graduated scholar’s co-valedictorian from Bishop Gorman High School, and is currently enrolled in an Honors program at the University level. With her son away at University, Mrs. Grisingher has devoted, and continues to devote, her time and talent to the spiritual and educational needs of her students. As a family, the Grisingher’s enjoy church functions, traveling, entertaining, cooking, and listening to music.

Mrs. Grisingher is proud to be your child’s Second Grade teacher and welcomes you to the Saint Gabriel Catholic School family!
